“We Used Powerful Rebranding to Generate Interest in Solar Stack.”

Challenge

With energy prices on the rise, more and more people are installing solar panels on their roofs. As they search for installers, DOUBLE DOWN realized that their name and branding did not resonate with potential customers. They needed to better communicate that they were in the solar industry.

Solution

We did a thorough brandstorm (intake) of DOUBLE DOWN and used what we learned to develop a plan to guide DOUBLE DOWN through a total rebranding process. We started with renaming the company Solar Stack, to reflect the company’s solar roots. Next, we moved forward with creating a new logo, which used interlocking rings to represent both the sun shining on the earth, and the physical connection between Solar Stack’s pedestals and the solar panels that are secured to them. With all the updated elements in place, we then launched the Solar Stack rebrand via a website, video, and a host of additional marketing materials.

Value Delivered

The results speak for themselves. At the start of the process, DOUBLE DOWN had an outdated look and feel. With its new name and vibrant color palate, Solar Stack was given a more current appearance and had become well-positioned as a reputable player in the solar industry.
