Gelson Rivera is the Director of Operations at BrandStar, serving within the BrandStar Connect division since 2020. While he doesn’t have a traditional academic background beyond high school, his 15 years in the contact center industry have been his greatest education. This hands-on experience has taught him how to lead with empathy, think strategically under pressure, and continuously adapt. Gelson’s leadership is grounded in integrity, hard work, and fairness—valuing practical problem-solving, clear communication, and mentorship. At BrandStar, he applies these principles by creating a team culture built on trust, respect, and support, empowering others to grow through real-world challenges. Gelson is also involved in community initiatives, including BrandStar Cares.
