May 20,2021

Pompano Beach, FL (May 20, 2021) - Military Makeover with Montel, BrandStar’s award-winning home improvement show premieres on Lifetime Television on May 21, 2021. Focusing on how to better the lives of former military is what sets this show apart from other home makeover shows. Helping to create a home that provides comfort and safety, along with the newest technology and latest design styles, for those who have dedicated their lives to protecting others, is the goal of each Military Makeover.

Our newest makeover takes place in Deerfield Beach at the home of Michael Daniels, a former Marine who served four years, including two tours in Iraq. One of which found him and his fellow Marines in an almost month-long battle, during which he protected his troop from enemy fire, while sustaining injuries caused by grenade fragments. Daniels was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with a “V” for Valor for heroic achievement. Now, with his wife Heather Kametler-Daniels by his side, they have purchased a home in Deerfield Beach and look forward to the Military Makeover it will undergo.

This Military Makeover is made possible with the help of Goodman Manufacturing, who has donated and will install the HVAC system, along with MyComputerCareer, who will redesign the office space, and has donated two MacBook Air computers. Patrick Industries has donated a bathtub, shower inserts, and glass barn door-style shower doors, as well as a new stone bathroom vanity, and the kitchen backsplash. With any home makeover, dumpsters are needed, and Junk King Franchise Systems will provide those, along with eco-friendly junk removal. A new refrigerator, oven, washer, and dryer have been donated by Rent-A-Center and ReadyCap Lending has provided a firepit, for outdoor relaxation and LendUS donates their time and scuba diving gear. Grunt Style, the official apparel sponsor of Military Makeover, along with Island Water Sports, have designed a custom Military Makeover and Grunt Style surfboard for Michael Daniels, which will be presented by host Lacy Evans, Grunt Style CEO Tim, and employee Dan, all former Marines.

“Our goal is to bring brands together that will help create a warm and comfortable home which will, in turn, help heal and improve the lives of Michael and Heather Daniels. That is what BrandStar’s Military Makeover with Montel is all about,” says BrandStar Founder & CEO, Mark Alfieri.
