We grew up as camp people. For Patrick it was Double-H Ranch, Paul Newman’s summer camp for children with serious medical conditions. For Ryan, it was Maryland Leadership Workshops, a summer camp for young people interested in creating positive change in the world. We both started as campers and grew into counselors. We developed a love of teaching and empowering others.
We met in New York City. Patrick was working steadily as an actor, and Ryan was producing commercials. We bonded over the desire to use our talent and passion to do more than simply “make it,” we wanted to help people. We wanted our work to have meaning.
Our first project was Stop The Bleeding!, a comedic web series for young people with hemophilia. Every episode taught critical medical and psychosocial lessons through single-camera comedy. Think The Office but with powerful bleeding disorders education snuck into every laugh.
We began producing documentaries, live events, and podcasts for clients with both unbranded and branded needs. Rare and chronic disease communities responded powerfully, and in the ten years since our founding, we’ve grown our incredible team of storytellers and produced on all seven continents.
We are camp people who became story people. We know the power of empathy and inspiration, and we love to bring those values to every project. Reach out to see how we can help tell your story.
